Advancing Health Equity
for Latino Communities
We design and scale culturally responsive mental health (mild-to-moderate) and case management solutions that help communities thrive.
Across Los Angeles County and beyond, SEED Health Solutions partners with agencies, schools, and community-based organizations to reimagine mental health access for Latino communities.
We bring evidence-based strategy, lived experience, and cultural fluency, together transforming programs into movements for change. Let's partner and make our communities healthy.
"Todo Tiene Solución" Everything Has A Solution
 About the Founder and Business
Carmen Perez, Founder & Principal Consultant of SEED Health Solutions, coined SEED to stand for Support • Empower • Educate • Develop: the guiding values behind every engagement. Raised by a father who often reminded her, "todo tiene solución" ("everything has a solution"), Carmen grew up believing that every problem can be met with action—an outlook that fuels her determination to build mental health solutions.

"I have known Ms. Perez for 3.5 years, ever since I started my recent consulting work with the Department of Mental Health in July 2020. At that time, Ms. Perez was serving as Co-Chair for SALT 4 while working as a Project Manager for the Family Care Specialist Group at White Memorial (now AdvenIst Health White Memorial). Over the course of two years, I had the pleasure of collaboratIng with Ms. Perez as I delivered capacity building trainings and as we worked collaboratIvely (along with other co-chairs) to strengthen DMH’s community stakeholder engagement system as specified in the YourDMH policies. A key product that emerged from this collaboratIve work was a framework (‘OrganizaIonal Structure’) that artIculated the roles and responsibilitIes of co-chairs, liaisons, and other staff involved in leading and managing SALTs and UsCCs."

“Carmen and I collaborated to bring Café Con Pan to the community in Boyle Heights. Café Con pan consists of free psychoeducational community workshops offered to the Latino community in Boyle Heights. As partners, it was important to help the community access and maintain mental health services as well as help decrease stigma about mental health. Carmen collaborated to expand the network of Café Con Pan presenters and partners in the hopes of continuing to build culturally sensitive and inclusive topics that would help educate as well as bring resources to the attendees. She assisted in accessing funds like county grants to help fund the cost of the workshops.”
